Veterans’ Day

It seems only fitting that I should write something about Veterans’ Day today. I don’t know many veterans personally. My dad was in the Navy in World War II and my brother-in-law was in the Army during the Korean war.

It doesn’t matter that I don’t know individual veterans. What matters is that they went to war and fought for the U.S. Because of them, I can enjoy the many freedoms afforded U.S. citizens.

So, thank you, Veterans for your services to your country … and to me.
