The Day After Christmas

Tis the day after Christmas
And all through the house
Are stacks of presents
Unwrapped, waiting to be put away.
But let’s linger and enjoy looking at them,
Tangible signs of affection.
Let’s enjoy the Christmas tree
With its bright lights
And listen again to carols playing.
It’s a day to reflect on the birth of a Savior
And what such a gift to mankind means.
