Saying Good-By

One of the blogs I read on a fairly frequent basis is written by a woman who is moving from one city to another in Scotland. In her most recent post she lists the things she’s saying good-by to.

That got me to wondering what I’d be saying good-by to if I were to move cities. (I have no plans to do that.) What would I miss the most?

I think a similar feeling occurs when you just move from one neighborhood to another. Any change in location can prompt those feelings. If you go back to visit the “old” area, you see things differently.

How about you? Are you moving? What will you miss about where you currently live? Will it be the parks, the shopping, the tree-lined streets?
