My Kind of Snow

Yesterday morning when I looked out, I was a little surprised to see snow. We got what I’d judge to be a half inch … and it was on the bushes, trees and grass. The streets were just wet. That’s definitely my kind of snow, the kind you don’t have to shovel and that doesn’t cause traffic snarls.

Of course, it was mostly gone by late afternoon although there might have been a tiny bit left in some deeply shaded area since the temperature only got a degree or three above freezing. The bushes and trees looked so pretty. In fact, some of them looked like they were blooming because the snow clung in little clumps.
