Sunday night we had some storms. Tornado warnings were issued. Sirens sounded. The automated warning phone call was received. The radio advised going to the basement.
So the rains came. Hail peppered the windows. And the winds blew! Lots of tree limbs — and trees — came down. So did electric wires. But it has been determined by the weather folk that it was straight line winds, not tornados, which caused the damage. Some of the microbursts of wind were clocked at 100 mph.
No damage at my place, thank God.
