Three times a charm

I knit and ripped the right front of this peach sweater twice, trying to mirror image the leaf lace panel.  But the third time it worked!  Finally I managed to get my brain to read the pattern starting with a row beginning from the left side of the chart.  Row 4 was a stinker … I invariably wanted to knit it the “normal” way of chart knitting instead of backwards as I needed to do to mirror image the pattern.  But perseverance (stubbornness) finally paid off on the third time through.  Just a few more rows will finish this front and then it’s on to the sleeves and borders.  I have until Friday to complete the sweater which is a 9-12 months size.  I think I can do it.
