Good reports

So far, today has been a day of good reports.
A little background … the weather here has been changeable to say the least.  Last week it was warm enough I turned on the air conditioning.  It didn’t seem to be real effective though but did cool the house some.  Over the weekend a cold front [...]

I’m just home from attending the Missouri District UPC Women’s Seminar.  This annual event is a highlight on the calendar for many of the women in attendance (over 1100).  It’s a great opportunity to see friends from across the state, share pictures of new grandbabies, catch up on the news of college-age children as well as [...]

Definitely spring here

It’s definitely spring here even though my daffodils aren’t blooming and the forsythia has reluctantly agreed to flower.  How do I know it’s spring?  I found the first dandelions in the yard today!

I worked as an election judge today.  We had what I considered to be a low turnout of voters so I had lots of time to knit.  Thanks to the election, I now have four booties knit for the baby shower on Saturday.  All of them still need to have their ankle straps crocheted and [...]
